Hell Bound Essay, Research Paper

There once was a man with a lot of trouble that followed him. It all started when he went fishing that one Friday afternoon. He was out in his boat and suddenly his fishing rod flew out of his hands. He grunted to himself and jumped in to go after he rod. All of the sudden this giant beast of a fish flew out of the water and tipped his boat over. After h got his boat flipped over, his jumped back in and rowed to shore. He was extremely angry because he got all wet. While he dragged his boat back to shore, he tripped, fell, and landed on his head. Things could not get any worse for Barney.

When he finally got home, he got in the shower, got dressed, and called some friends to go to Hooters. When he came home, he didn t even say hi to his wife or kid. He gave his best friend Joe a call to see if he was up for a night at Hooters. Joe was up for it so the darted to Hooters. As they sat at Hooters, Barney thought to himself, Geese, I really need to get a life! That was a very true. All he ever did these days was work part time, fish, and drink. He was loosing touch with his kid and his wife.

Later that night when he stumbled in, he went straight to bed. When he woke up, his wife and his kid were packing. He asked them, Where are you guys going? I have had enough of your crap, I m out of here, said his wife. He was so hung over, all he cared about was the baseball game and Tylenol. He grabbed a beer, the remote, and wasted the day away.

As I m sure you could tell by now, his is a disgrace to society. He didn t just wake up one day though acting like that. It all started when his was little. His mother and father used to hand him upside down. The catch was that he had to do it for days on end and that messed with his brain a little bit. When he got older, he got beat up in high school because he looked strange. After a childhood like that, you can kind of see why h is the way he is.

Later that evening, one of his friends called. Hey Barney, wanna go get some brewskies? Sure Phil, lemme get dressed and I ll meet you at Bob s Tavern. As Barney got showered, he got a funny feeling, but he ignored it. He got in his car and took off for Bob s. As he was on his way, he wondered why he had that feeling. He couldn t figure it out so he ignored it. He rolled up to Bob s, walked in, greeted Phil, and sat down at the bar. As he started drinking, he started to get that weird feeling in his stomach like something was wrong. He told Phil he had to go because something wasn t right.

On the highway headed home, something strange was going on. He noticed that no one, I mean no one, was on the road. By that time, the storm was kicking in. The trees were swaying and the wind was howling. But when the lightning flickered, it wasn t normal white, it was blood red. From the light the lightning produced, the sky was a vast, blood red swirling funnel. On his right he saw a gas station with a cop pulled in. He took a right, parked, and went inside. When he walked in, it looked like a heartless massacre. Everyone s eyes were bulged out and their limbs were scattered and there was blood all over the walls. Barney got in his car and squealed off. What in the heck was that, he said to himself. All of the sudden, the highway came to an end. He got out and when he looked up out came a mammoth beast. On his head where the numbers 666 . Barney thought it for sure over with. When the beast opened its mouth, you could smell the stink of a rotting eternity. Right as the beast slammed his monstrous jaws down, Barney woke up with his face on the bar table. Barney had so much to drink that he passed out.

After barney woke up the Sunday morning, he immediately checked himself into rehab. He realized that the drinking and the lack of responsibility have gone too far. It ruined his relationship between his wife and kid, and he also lost the respect from just about everyone else. Anyways, after Barney completed rehab, he got back together with his family and h is now happily sober.
